Rubinstein-Taybi Site
June 8, 2011 in Uncategorized
The Rubinstein-Taybi website was created 15 years ago, when Lisa Wardlow was 6 years old. I started some personal pages and one the pages was dedicated to my daughter, Lisa who has a diagnosis of Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. Soon I started receiving emails from people who told me about someone they knew with Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome. I wanted to share their emails and “Our Pages” is the result.
Recently I received an email from Mikhail Milovidov who asked if I would be interested in posting a video of his Aunt Maureen. I thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to introduce videos to the site.
I not only want to introduce videos, I hope by putting this site into wordpress it can become a site that the whole RTS community can participate in, update and help to keep current. Please view Mikhail’s wonderful video and add your own!

Just recently found out that my beautiful little grandson was diagnosed with RTS. He is 25 months old. Any suggestions as to who and where you’ve received support and helpful hints. We are going to be taking ASL to communicate with Aushay. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
G Ma JoJo

Hi Jojo,
I’d love to hear more about your grandson Aushay. I also wanted you to know about the listserve. It’s a great way for you to communicate with hundreds of people through email. Janet Estes runs the listserve and you can sign up and read the emails or send an email to the list. Please contact Janet Estes, RTS List Owner/Administrator at janetestes@telus.net
My daughter Lisa started with sign language, she’s 22 now and verbal but the sign language really helped a lot. I’ve seen that a lot of people have recommended the Signing Time videos.
